This project has been developed as part of the Computational Creativity course I took at UCD. Memes are a recent and widely used means of communication on the Internet, so their study is important for understanding new ways of communicating. The development of such an application also provides a different perspective on the subject. As time goes by, the meme has not only been a means of communication but has also been diverted to humorous, social or artistic purposes. Thanks to the study of the patterns of about fifty different memes, a grammar has been created with Tracery. This research was done to capture the essence of what makes memes, their similarities and differences. Memes generated by a computer program are not a means of communication but are based on the purely humorous character of the memes. The fact that they are created by a machine explores two important aspects of humor: the discrepancy in the way the memes are created and the way they are used.

I've worked on this game as part of an internship I did in 2021 for the company Mathinnées. I worked on it with my friend Romain Bayer (another Ludus Académie student). This game aims to show different types of psychometric tests so that the player has an idea of what such a test might look like. Mathinées is a company that offers to help candidates prepare for public service exams. As these competitions contain psycho-technical tests but many people do not know what they are, the game proposes to introduce them to this kind of test. This is the most ambitious project I have ever worked on! It's a game I developed alone between August 2020 and June 2021. The gameplay is copying the one from "The Sacrifice of William Stoughton" but I wanted to add the possibility for players to create and share their own levels! On this project, we were 2 student, working for 3 months. We had to make a puzzle game about the Salem witches. In this game, the player controls a peasant who seeks revenge and who has strange ability that allows him to take control of the witches... The goal is to burn every witch at the stake but each level is full of traps... So far, this is my most advanced projet, and it is still in progress!
